Hello! Welcome to my personal website that I created myself! I’m happy you stopped by and are taking the time to learn a little bit about who I am, my background, and my experiences. So, let me introduce myself. I’m Jeffrey Hitchcock, a recent graduate from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and an aspiring software engineer based in southeastern Michigan.
Ever since I was young, I’ve had a deep curiosity and interest in technology and computers. As a child I would often play computer games, dig deep through the user settings, or even take apart and reassemble an old computer I found in the basement. This has led me to explore and study computer science in school, so I can enter the technology industry as I grow older. I love engaging in new challenges, pushing my boundaries, and continuously learning and growing.
When it comes to my work, excellence, growth, and learning are things I always strive for. I believe that every project, no matter the size, deserves genuine effort and careful attention to detail. This is why I always give everything I dedicate time to my most thorough effort and diligence.
I love engaging in new endeavors as every new situation will provide an opportunity for growth and learning, however much of my motivation comes from the opportunity to connect with new people. I always enjoy collaborating and building new relationships no matter the person or group. I believe teamwork, communication, and respect are vital keys to success.
Outside of work, I live a balanced lifestyle and engage in activities that support both my physical and mental well-being. I take a great interest in seeing my friends and family, lifting weights, golf, snowboarding, and chess to name a few.
